LITTLE WOMEN
1.The story starts at Christmas is a house where four girl (Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth) lived with their mother. They father is away at the civil war and they live in a teenager atmosphere. The sisters are very close but they aren’t happy with their way of life because they don’t have much money and they are a poor family. Amy is very angry, beth is shy, Jo wants to be artist and she is very decided and Meg is a responsible girl.
A lot things happen to them and this makes them improve and change. They also meet Lourie and Mr.Brooke.
Finally the only girl who gets married is Meg, but to a poor man. It means that although they want better life things don’t change really.
2.In this story I haven’t found mystery scenes but have found a moment that the story changes. It’s when we the family March receives a letter saying father March has been wounded in the war. This new was terrible for the sisters and their mother. Then the mother had to go to Washington to be with him.
3.The story takes place in America in a town of New Year during the civil war .
4.The main character are:
Meg: she is oldest girl of all and she doesn’t like working and she wants to marry a rich man. Finally, she falls in love with a poor men from the village.
Jo: she’s second oldest, she loves literature, she is very secure and decided . she hasn’t grown up and she doesn’t want to get married.
Beth: she’s very shy, she likes playing the piano and she also very ill.
Amy: is the youngest girl and the most bad tempered. She only thinks about money and luxuries and herself.
Lourie: he is friendly with the girls and falls in love with Jo. He lives with his grandfather and he studied with Mr Brooke, his tutor.
5.The main character is Jo ( Josephine) because she is different from her sisters. She’s the second oldest, she looks after her sisters a lot because they love each other a lot.
She’s a little different from the others because she likes writing stories and plays and after she tells them to her sisters. She’s also peaceful, shy but very out going and she doesn’t to grown and even less get married.
6.Of all the characters, I can identify myself with Meg, the oldest, because she seems shy, quiet and is also a girl that tries to help and listen to the important people for her. I think that I look a little like her. Meg also is a little undecided and a little embarrassing at the first meetings and I’m very undecided and it’s difficult for me to decide when I really don’t know what I want.
7.My favorites moment is when on Christmas day father March appeared with Mr.Brooke. Mr.Brooke has gone to get to surprise the sisters and Mrs. March.
I liked the moment when Jo and Meg cried together father and all the sisters kissed and were very happy as were father, mother and Mr. Brooke and Laurie.
8.Reading the book I learnt words to understand the story such as dolls, that is a simple dolls,; also gossip are critical comments about other people. Play is a story that is acted in a theatre, I didn’t know that play also refers to this. And finally I learnt many other words such as wicked.
9.I would have liked Jo to have married Lourie and Meg and Mr.Brooke to go and live together because they would have together and grown also together so they would have not fear about the idea of being a polite young lady. As Beth also would meet a special person for her.
9.I like Little Women a lot and I would recommend this book because in the story hides something that refers when we are small and we were teenagers it’s difficult to change and dead with new experiences, especially like to Jo.

Kellogg’s company is a international food industry of USA which produces products for breakfast, like cereals and biscuits special to health food and a balanced diet.
History:
In 1849, the brothers Kellogg did an experiment in Battle Creek, Michigan, USA. The brothers, John Harvery and William Keith Kellogg created the first cereals by chance when they forgot about the baked wheat in the oven. At this moment, they created cereals.
However, they wanted own cereals to be special for good health and they did many experiments to get healthy and light products.
The brothers offered of Battle Creek the cereals that they had obtained for breakfast. This breakfast became popular and after 10 years, other companies were producing similar products.

The importance of music for children
Childhood is the stage when children have first contact with the outside world. They also have the ability to learn by knowledge and experiences.
Music in the best factor to help to develop their capacity because children will be able to learn faster because education specialists say that music is very important in the first stage for children. Music helps to increase our sensitivity.
Despite this at the moment lot of people believe that music is a less important subject in the education of student because they believe that it’s wasting time without results.
However, we should think that we are living among acoustic pollution and music is very necessary in education because it allows children to choose their own style music and they develop their own personality.
Now we understand more about music and we understand why at school, champs, excursions, etc they teach children songs.
In conclusion I think that we should be conscious that music will help to improve education so that it will reflect on tomorrow’s society. I also think that music allow us to meet in a safe space as shelter when something isn’t going well and our projects aren’t good.

William and Kate get to married
The news that the Duke of Cambridge made his last public act of the day, with the traditional kiss on the balcony of Bucking Palace.
The celebration was excellent and without any problems. The couple went around part of London in a carriage to Buckingham Palace.
The new duchess of Cambridge will be named Catherine for the royal protocol.
300 guests assisted at the banquet including the Queen of Spain and the prince and princess of Asturias.
My opinion about this new: I have never seen a spectacular celebration as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, England. So many TV shows with a lot of people waiting for Kate and William. So, it was previous because it was a very typical and traditional British Royal wedding.
However, this weeding has been an other important celebration like the famous wedding of Lady Di and Charles. However, this event will be criticized a lot to find good and bad things.
Last Friday a lot of people, were watching the wedding on TV, … It has been entertaining.

Secondhand serenade: Fall for you
Author and his song
Secondhand serenade is an American acoustic rock band formed by John Vasely in California, USA, in 2004. J. Vasely wanted burn a musical band after spending 8 years playing in local places. At the first moment, he began writing songs and his wife helped him.
The pseudonym of Secondhand Serenade means to the way of music as serenades for his wife. The first album was Awake, the second was a Twist in my story (2008) and the last album and recent is Hear me now (2010). This album, as stated by the singer is more upbeat than his last album. It’s also the most important for the band and the most famous because there are songs that speak about love, problems about love and things that we feel but we don’t express.
FALL FOR YOU, is one of the songs, of the album A Twist in my story, more beautiful and is the song that made the group successful. So the song was certified platinum in the United States.
The name of this song is Fall for you because it speaks about love/hate relationship that never ends but it doesn’t always work. So the lyrics speak about a relationship where they seem to be happy but she shows some insecurity and he think he doesn’t love her when he really des. When they seem to break up they get together again.
I liked Secondhand Serenade a lot because his songs are beautiful but I like them because the lyrics express the reality of love and when you listen some songs help to cheer you up.
In the song Fall for you I like rhythm, lyrics and video clip. In conclusion, I hope that this band to come to Spain a concert because I want to go to one of his concerts.

However, we often see Real Madrid play and they only kick the other players. It seems that they have learnt to play with little humility.
In conclusion, I know that Barcelona is the best football players because they know that sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

Crackdown sees 500 offenders deported
When on October 30 the National police deported an illegal Moroccan immigrant who had committed some 40 offences, the total number of there were about 503 more Who has to be deported. Most of these people had committed offences linked to the trafficking and use of drug. The relations between Barcelona council and the police was not very good because of a problem of prostitution in Ciutat Vella . The police say that the problem of deportation is very complicated. According to the police, so far in 2009 about 2.988 offences have been committed and are committed judicial proceedings. The average number of crimes per repatriated person is six.
The National Police says that it’s trying to improve the system but the law says. They can only return to their country when five years have passed. This problem has also been in the UK.
I think that it’s a big problem because every day there are offenders. However if the police were more efficient then these problems would disagree.
In my opinion, I disagree with the fact that the police can’t repatriate people because of this law. The police have to be efficient because there are many different situations and they won’t be able to catch criminals unless they are more efficient.

Euthanasia
Euthanasia refers to the practice of ending a life in a manner which relieves pain and suffering
Mar adentro is a film about an ill man who was in a bad situation and wanted to die but the doctors couldn’t do anything for him. While a man suffered and wanted to end his life, the law, religion and politicy were like obstacles in the man’s life.
Nowadays, Euthanasia is a very important subject that has never been made legal although a lot of people be agree with it.
There are a lot of people who believe that you should be able to choose whether you want to live or die.
Today, we know about cases where someone is very ill and they are only alive because they are connected to a machine. These people want to die but the doctors can’t permit this. There are doctors who would like to help but they can’t because it’s unethical. The main obstacle is religion because they believe that a person must die when God says so.
Religion is totally against Euthanasia and so it’s impossible for it to be legal. Doctors respect all rules of religion but people disagree because when they somebody in their family suffering they also suffer.
MY OPINION. Years ago I didn’t know about euthanasia but five years ago I saw a news item that made an impression on me. For me it was incredible because it was about a young girl who couldn’t move or speak and it was very difficult for her. She also had to use oxygen. The only thing that she asked was to turn off the machine to die and stop suffering.
This is an example of euthanasia, which I think is necessary when a person wants to end his life because they have a irremediable illness.
In conclusion, I think everybody should have the right to choose what they want to do with their lives.
Earth song transmits everything and more
Earth song is the best song of Michael Jackson that he composed years ago where he talks about the lack of equality in the world. In the video clip he represents how people can destroy the world with their hands. Consequently the world seems to rebel until it kills everything, the earth has finished, all the necessary things have been destroyed, the animals have died, the forest, everything…
This song speak about the selfishness of everybody about all our bad actions that end up in warms, all children in wars, the poverty in Africa and the richness in America, the cries of the earth when it sees this situation but it speak about the differences that there are in the world.
Every time that I listen to this song I think about the poverty in a lot of countries and the richness in the developed countries. When I listen to the song I feel sadness because I know that every minute a lot of people die. On the other hand there are people who have everything and they want more and more.
Earth song makes me feel useless because I can’t do anything to change the world.
Michael Jackson with his lyrics reflected feelings that people didn’t have present in their minds.
In conclusion, I think that this song is one of his best songs but the most important were the lyrics. I really like it a lot.

WHAT ABOUT TIP?
In Spain a lot of foreigners don’t know if they should give a tip. In general Spanish people do not give tips or they give very little. Normally the Americans give most tips. In most places tips are included in the service charge.
I think that it's normal because when foreigners are in other countries, they always leave a tip for two reasons.
1)They don't live in this country.
2) It's an other culture.
The Spanish people are perhaps used to leaving a tips in other places or bars that aren't in their country.
In my opinion it depends on the people because there are generous people mean people who don't leave tips.
Nowadays it also depends on the crisis because spanish people and foreigners don't leave money in a bars life as before.

BULL FIGHTS NOWADAYS
Bull fights are a kind of animal which is criticized a lot. I think that bullfighters earn their living killing these animals. It’s very cruel!!
Many people believe that killing the bull is the best activity in Spain (nowadays it’s also in France). This country has always recognized the history and culture as killing the bulls.
Despite the fact that many people like it a lot, I think that it’s a bad thing because bullfighters and people who like enjoying themselves to see how bullfighters kill the animals while they suffers.
At this moment, this subject has had a lot of problems. The problem is if killing the bull would be legal in Spain. On the one hand, there were people who don’t want this or they don’t agree, but on the other hand there are people who agree with this because they say that it’s very cruel.
Nowadays this problem continues but the best situation that was decided has been the new law: In Catalonia it’s forbidden to do bull fighting.
In conclusion, I think that killing the bull shouldn’t be permitted in any country because I believe that it’s a terrible sport that they do. When I’m watching TV and this comes on I immediately change the channel because for me it’s unfair.
There are also a lot of campains where people want to help animals. These campains are against any person who does bullfighting and also the people who watch it.

The latest Blackberry
Since 2010, the new technology that has surprised everybody has been Blackberry mobile phone. This technological appliance allows all kinds of uses like messenger, facebook, twenty, surf Internet and a lot of other uses that are included in the mobile.
At first, a small percentage of people knew about this mobile but in the last months of 2010 and 2011, it’s seems to have become well known. It’s possible because the mobile has a lot of advantages for work and to be connected everywhere because it’s like a little computer where you can do the same on a computer and the mobile.
However, the biggest obstacle for the BlackBerry Company has been the mobile Iphone, which is the latest technology of mobiles and the best thing at this moment.
The two companies have been fighting to be the best. If now we ask everybody about that they prefer, somebody will say that prefer ‘BB’ (Blackberry) and others will say Iphone.

In conclusion, I think that recently BB has been more popular than Iphone because this company puts on to the market a new models of Iphone every year and it seems that the mobiles is out of fashion. Recently, I bought a BB and I’m very pound and satisfied with it because I haven’t problems. I think that BB is less than the Iphone but for me I like it a lot because this mobile hasn’t gut tactile keys and it’s better. Moreover I like it more because it’s easy use and it also allows me to speak free with my friends.
However, everything seems to be a tick for everybody to buy this mobile because the first months the price is low but the following months the price is very high. In conclusion, I think than BB is better than Iphone because it’s easy and comfortable to use.

It’s true! It’s possible to have a relationship despite the distance being very long and complicated. But there are a lot of different kinds of media that permit communication easier. At this moment we have a lot of kinds of medias like for example the cellphones, phone, social network (facebook, tuenti, twetty,…) that everyday are best because they also have images like chat, the private mail… In addition there also other things. At the travel agents you clinget cheap flights and the trips are very shurt. Ryaneir is one example. Recently we can find cheap flights but if we buy flights at the last moment, the flights are even cheaper.
It’s great help when someone has a relationship in another country because, a few years ago, it was very difficult to have a relationship.
In my opinion, I think that it’s easier to have a relationship but it isn’t comfortable because, well!, I can speak to my boyfriend and we can see each other but it’s not always easy. Not everybody people can travel or call by cellphone because it would cost a lot of money.
I think that it’s easier because in the middle there are a lot of problems that could cause the couple to break up. However if a people meets another these people can0t do anything about it.

Travelling with vampires around the world (Research project)
In about eighteenth the country, the vampire was only legend that people of different countries explained around the world. In this century a lot of kinds of exit vampires that were more similar to rebellious and diabolic creatures.
When in 1875, Bram Stoker wrote the famous Dracula, immediately the character of the vampire began to change. This vampire was a real gentleman with a great beauty. Despite being born with similar characteristics to a vampire: very evil, violent, blood sucking, killing all the people, etc. so his aspect was better because he could fall in love with Elisabeth.
The evolution of the vampire changed because he loved and he had good feelings. The gothic novel was of the novels that stod out from all the others because Bram Stoker build the best vampire of all ages.
After Dracula was published, the character in type of thriller was more successful, more than the figure of vampires which had always been the same.
So a lot of writers wrote about vampires interpreting them as cruel animal only being fed blood.
ANNE RICE with Interview with the Vampire, Laurell K. Hamilton with Guitly Pleasures or Sthephenie Meyer with Twilight, are important writers who stand out for their novels of the thriller types.

New technologies that are essential in our life are the TV, radio, computer and other apparatus. On the one hand, the people continue to manufacture the same apparatus but more avancended and better. On the other hand, nowadays the Iphone, Ipod, DVD, Video, mobiles of the latest models, etc. exsist.

The last race
In motorcycle: the best is Valentino Rossi
I’m going to speak about motorcycling. Last week there was a completion for the last race in Mugello.
After a year of racing Jorge Lorenzo won the championship. However the winner of the race was Valentino Rossi but he only won this race.
At the beginning they were the best and most important because they always had similar points. However in one race, Valentino had a very bad accident and he broke his keg. It was very serious that Valentino missed a lot of races. Meanwhile Lorenzo added points, he won races and he was the first in the championship.
Everybody who likes Valentino, like me, wasn’t worried about his recuperation.
The day of the race and the last day, everybody just knew that Lorenzo would be the winner but people didn’t know that Valentino would be the winner of the race.
Of all the motorcycle racing drivers I defend and I like Valentino because he is always kind to everybody. I remember that last winter, I went to Race in October. I watched all the race and at the end, I had the opportunity to meet Valentino. However I didn’t say anything because he was being interviewed.
So the next year I went go to some race a circuit of Catalunya. My father and my brother also like this and they are thinking about going to a race too.
I hope that Valentino gets in position among the best pilots and is able to win the new championship. At the moment Valentino’s sponsors are working to make news changes to permit new objectives for next year.

COMPULSORY SHOPPING
One of the most common illnesses is compulsory shopping. It’s always in the news that people that suffer this illness and they said that shopping is very ambicious because they start to buy things until they can’t live without constantly shopping.
Everybody or a lot of people believe that these people are ill for buying clothes and accessories but… They also buy food, collections of somethings, magazines or things that are very expensive and not necessary.
Sometimes people with money spend all of it to buy things but people with not much money try to get money because they need it for shopping.
Everything that people buy is unnecessary because it isn’t useful. When people buy things they use them and they forget about them quickly. The cost of the things isn’t important when they buy them because even if the cost is expensive it doesn’t worry them.
In my opinion I think that it’s a very bad illness because in a documentaly that I saw on TV people needed other people to help them. I don’t know anybody with this compulsory illness but I can that it isn’t easy to cure it.

Children who are 12 year old start the ESO (Compulsory Secondary education). ESO lasts 4 year and children have compulsory subjects. After, pupils choose what they want to study, if they want to continue studying batxillerat or study another option like technology subjects.
I think that it very important to have studies in this life but especially at this moment. Everybody has to have studies, pupils who want to and have the capacity for studying, or teenagers that have other option if they won’t study.
In my opinion, I believe that technical studies is a good option because not everybody can go to university after doing two years of batxillerat. People think that if you do technical studies you have less possibilities but it’s not always true.
Technical studies is a good idea because there are a lot of young people who do better in this. A lot of people, who finish four years of secondary school think that they can do Batxillerat, but when they start the first year in batxillerat and it’s very difficult for them, they want to change their studies. There is always someone who starts batxillerat and they finish doing technical studies. In conclusion I think that batxillerat and technical studies are both good possibilities to decide what the students want to do.
